From Calgary or Edmonton

Take Highway #2 north from Calgary, or south from Edmonton. Exit at the Highway #581 exit (for Carstairs). There are also signs for Custom Woolen Mills at this exit. Turn east on hwy 581 and follow 22km until the sign for CWM. Turn left and follow the road 3.5km to the T-intersection. Turn right and go for 3.5km until the next sign for CWM where you then turn left onto gravel and go north for 1.5km. You will see the mill on your right. Driving time from Calgary is 1 hour. Driving time from Edmonton is 3 hours.

From the East

You can also reach Custom Woolen Mills from the east by taking the paved road off Highway #21 west 20km into Linden. Continue past Linden for another 16km until you see the sign for CWM. Turn right onto the gravel road and go north for 1.5km. You will see the mill on your right.
